| http://www.mapinc.org/norml/v07/n064/a05.htm A bill that if passed will legalize the sale of marijuana and if I read correctly the recreational use of it aswell. There's just those retards that think marijuana will make you kill people. It sad how stupid our government is. |

| I live in MA, I pray this will pass but sadly don't think it will. and if it does I'm sure there will still be lots of BS and you wont actually be able to freely smoke, but either way its a step in the right direction.

| This is CRAZY! Yeah, it probably won't be as great as it sounds if it passes, because in order for it to pass their probably going to need to compromise. Even if it's just decriminalized, though, it'll be great. With any luck, it'll pass, and I think that there's a pretty good chance a modified version will pass. A recent study has shown that drug use here in NH has been growing in ever increasing rates, especially among teenagers and twenty-somethings, but violent crime rates have been dropping fairly considerably. Oh, and does anyone else find it funny that one of the main proposers' name is Weed?

I have seen his car around.. Its a rust colored beatup 80's VW Jetta. and it has WEED painted in black on the front doors. just gave me a chuckle seeing a beatup car with NH Legislative Licence Plates with WEED painted on the doors. But for some reason I have the feeling that It won't pass.. Especially after 11 growhouses were found in the southern part of the state. http://www.mapinc.org/drugnews/v07/n020/a02.html?999 Quote:

| I doubt it will pass, but this is still excellent news. I didn't expect to see such a domino effect with states attempting to legalize marijuana. This is absolutely wonderful news. Mark Souder and John Walters, beware! More people know the truth than you hope, you lying scumbags. Eventually, it will prevail. I'll love to see you bastards scramble to counter-act this legislation with more lies, allowing more people to realize just how ignorant/deceptive you are when it comes to such a wonderful drug.

I also believe that future historians will look at this epoch and recognize it as another instance of the 'madness of crowds.'" ~Dr. Lester Grinspoon |

| Maybe, maybe not. Such a bust might illustrate how useless in general the war on marijuana has been: they just made this huge bust, and I, for one, can definitely say that it hasn't affected my rate of consumption. Sure, most of that was probably going to be exported, and it was never really meant for here in the first place. But to bust 10,000 plants, and STILL see no difference being made... that might help illustrate the ridiculousness of them continuing to fund the anti-pot policies. Plus, honestly, NH is one of the places it's most likely to succeed. All around, our citizens have a more libertarian outlook on life- one of personal rights and responsibilities (this political climate is actually the reason we've been chosen as the destination state of the Free State Project, a movement to get as many libertarians in an area to affect major political change). I think our representatives will demonstrate that spirit in the near future. |
