i have read some loose explanations of why weed is not legal. i was wondering if there is a site that says the real reason in depth

Also, check out/buy the book: The Emperor Wears No Clothes. It's a very interesting history on MJ and makes you aware of WHY it was deemed "illegal" (You will be even more mad) and how it was made out to be the drug that made white women flock to black men, and was the drug of choice for jazz and blues musicians (docs are filled with many racial slurs). The more you learn, the angrier you get. It is very very unfair. JFK probably would have legalized it (he used it) - if he were not assasinated - coindience?

My answer.

Most people either don't care or want it so. Those who opening support marijuana legalization are a minority. If most people wanted it legalized, it would be.
