Because of the things I've read about only something like 1% of tokers taking action against the War on Drugs and in getting legalization I decided to start this thread to try to change that. I ask that whoever reads this thread would send their House Rep. either email or snail mail requesting a change. I don't care what the exact topic is of the mail, just so long as it involves changing the current American policy on marijuana legality. Even if it is just trying to make the use of medical marijuana legal in your state my goal is just to get us tokers talking. If you have complied with this or will DEFINITELY comply to this request TODAY, please leave a post explaining an over view of your mail.

If we want to see marijuana legalized, we need to change public opinion about marijuana. The way to do that is to join and contribute to the organizations that would educate the public and lobby representatives if they had the funding to do so. These guys are doing their best with the limited resources we've given them.

Do your part. Join and contribute to one or more of these organizations. You'll be put on an email alert list so that you'll know when important issues are before Congress and suggestions about what you might say to your representatives.

Well I'm trying to give people an alternative to that. Like for people like me who are only 15 and I looked at those websites planning on joining but from what i saw you have to send them money to become a memeber. Believe me I have absolutely no problem with that it's just that I don't have money very often. And I'm just trying to get something done, I had a feeling I was going to get a negative response to this thread but at least it's some kind of action that anyone can do whether you have money to spare to support these organizations or not.
