| I always like to think of it as alcohol. You can get a variety of different types of alcohol and at which they are at different alocohol percentages. So if it were ever legalized, you would probabaly be able to get anything from schwag all the way to the greatest kush with different prices for each. But who knows? You'll never know until weed is legalized. |

| If cannabis was a billion dollar industry, there would probably be genetically modified weed with insane THC levels. I wonder if some weed companies would put chemicals in their herb to help it absorb into your body faster like with cigarettes.

| ok my title for the reply does stand out a little shocking to many...but i do have my reasons. weed can grow in any condition. the big money players would not want something that can be so easily available be all over the world. cigrarettes on the other hand is good for business...it's difficult to grow, takes a lot of processes to get it into a neat little stick and it is very very addictive. for the big players, they just simply brush the health issue under the rug! perhaps an open and honest study should be conducted...here's is an interesting idea: why dont we have a reality show and dump 20 people in a house and make 10 guys smoke 3 cigarettes on a daily basis and 10 other guys in another room and have them smoke weed at the same times and then let the voting and observations begin! ![]() ![]() |

| You would be able to buy all sorts of grades of cannabis. I'm pretty sure that actual shit that doesn't get you high won't be around anymore. I think most people on average, would smoke better quality weed than they do today. But there will always be a "middies" and "KB" distinction.

| Still, growing anything is harder than just buying it. I'm telling you, there would be a huge shoot-up in people growing, but I don't think it would effect the profits for the marijuana distributors. Not many in our nation live off of their land anymore. |

) Please understand this...i live in africa, i am surrounded by a huge 5 acre all-year good weather garden. and i have a few patches of cute little cannabises growing like (pun) weed. all i have to do is dry the leaves in a year-round african sun and PRESTO, i am ready for (pun) some pot-luck. i tried growing tobacco just to prove my point and i failed miserably! the shite needs to grow in a certain condition (only a few places in africa can you achieve this), then smoked (as in, in the sun or a kiln) then processed by adding more shite to it and then all kinds of other processing and needless to say, shite-ing...the list is endless. so before i get a ciggy stick, i will have done a lot. All for a lung-destroying addictive tar bar.now lets look at economics of all this...carefully - we have weed on one hand where i have managed to prove to myself that it has all the benefits to your body if taken well. weed gives you a high (better than alcohol) and a kick, better than any cigarette. I get to watch a stupid movie like say Chicago and i am like "hey, i get it!", i watch "lord of the rings" (all of them) and i could see the most finest of details...and this is something that you can grow in your own backyard! The big money players will tell you how something that is THAT good only means that it is harmful...NOT!! something that good and cheap and readily available means that there will be far too many smart, rich and self-reliant people. cigarettes and alcohol is good business...and tilts the scale of rich and poor even further... ok i am getting emotional here but i hope you get my point. | |
