Marijuana reduces the psycologically addictive states of cruelty and hatred. We can't have that! Whatever would we do without bureaucratic back-stabbing and domestic violence?

By the way xlite, I love the pro-druglord/pro-blackmarket arguement. That's a spin that I don't even think the government can counter. Possibly good enough to stage a societal epiphany in the legalization organizations' advertising.

Combine this with Caliskunk's suggestions and you actually have yourself a credible, yet morally bankrupt argument. Come off as a harsh capitalist, invoke social darwinism arguments, and generally present yourself as a tyrant who's acting within the law. Explain that keeping people poor, and sending black people to jail actually helps the economy, and keeps the rich in their place. Explain how all the upper class kids in your class might have to be, gasp!, equal in society if marijuana is legalized.

Tell the truth.

Don't let the school push you around. Back in my sophomore year my Health teacher tried me to write an essay on why pot should be illegal, instead I stood up and gave a speech on why it should be legal.

Do what caliskunk said and add that marijuana makes you eat babies just to make the anti-marijuana propagaists look like itiots. Don't do this without revealing the many pros of legalization, not just the invisible cons.
