there is a new bill for legalizing not decriminalizing marijuana in california state wide it is written very well and i belive i has a shot but unfortunately im going to be just a couple months to young to vote so isntead im going to spread the word

they still need 1,000,000 signatures from vallid registered california voters to have it put on the ballot the signature drive starts in december 2007 and ends may 2008 if they get the signatures then it will be put on the ballot

a basic summary would be that any one 21 or over would be able to purchase up to 12 pounds of marijuana a year with a maximum tax on marijuana being $10.00 per ounce all people convicted or on try or waiting to be on try for marijuana charges will be released and records of all marijuana felonies or crimes wil be erased from their record
also the legalization of hemp for industrial use as in making plastics fibers and non-toxic paints and many other things will be legaized along with medicinal use and nutritonal use
any and all cases posesion use or cultivation or any other charge related to marijuana will be dissmissed by the california court system
and of course parifinalia will be legalized to
