| Try to keep in mind that not all politicians are in it for the money, or perks, or power tripping. There are quite a few that are in it for what they truely believe to be right. For this to work, letters would have to be sent in volume, non-baiting or threatening, and persistant over periods of time. And the a very concentrate, maintianable strike on their district during election time. It would be better to hold the sword over their head for a debate, than to try and blackmail them with their career. If they choose to dismiss us without a debate or hearing us out. Then we will mercilessly seek to have them voted out of office. But those who are open to a debate should not feel threatened or intimidated to do our bidding. It is better for them to back a bill that they understand fully, than to do so because were threatening to have him voted out. This will only make them defensive and shut down. We have the truth on our side, we have no reason to use threats, yet. This is a good idea, because this brings about much focus for all the disorganized pinpoints of light that make up the marijuana.com community. It is easier to target a handful of people than the entire governmental structure. Of course, people would have to register to vote, and then make a point of going and voting against them. It is not good to bring about threats without being able to back them up. If you are going to be threatening, then we need to be sure that we can get the outcome of the threat before stating it. Peace

| Congressional districts for Representatives are typically only one or two counties. Local ads on television, radio, and print would be fairly inexpensive. The beauty of this plan, we don't even have to explain why were running ads against the Speaker, or Majority/Minority leaders. All we have to do is make his voting record on controversial issues (heh heh) know to his constituients. Let his constituients do the rest along with whatever support we can drum up from the pro-marijuana legalization voters. We can hit the editors of national news organizations with the intent after the election. They'll never know what hit them, but every leader in Congrees will think twice before they summarily dismiss a bill like Hastert has done. |

| Actually, the Libertarian Party is already pursuing this stragedy. We've already succeeded in getting Bob Barr and a couple of Dem's kicked out of office. Next election the party plans to continue their stragedy and hopefully end the war on drugs by 2010. For more info on this hit up: http://www.lp.org/issues/drug-war-task-force.html |

| You're kidding me. This is just awesome! Okay then, let's turn up the heat and terminate the leadership that's against these ridiculous marijuana laws. Does Hastert know about this initiative? Should I send him a fax? |
