I called his office, its local.
They said Marijuana legalization has not been an issue.
I let them know it was. Will call back next week to see when the issue will be addressed.

bc, you can look on www.normal.com for some examples of letters to edit. You should be able to find your representatives in Canada by doing a web search.

i dont have anything to say on the current subject so im going to tell a story. today i went for a walk up this hill to UNBC, and then i seen this creek so me and 2 other people climbed up beside the creek and then there was a long road at the top of the creek and we went down the road, and it woulda been a sweet road for atving, and then we came out by the university and went in to it and climbed up and down all the cool stairs and started thinking about how sweet of a house it would make. then we went back down the hill and decided to go oer the side of the guard rail near the bottom of the hill and then we seen this guy climbing the hill in his toyota tacoma and i totally thought he was gonna flip over but he didnt and then i walked home and ate roast beef and potatoes. it was sweet. peace out and keeep on tokin everyone

I think that we need to join together like the black did in the civil rights movement. We should vote in mass, if we all stopped being lazy (we can't help it) and voted we could elect one of our own. Than he could work from the inside and do everything he can to get it legalized. It would spread and eventually get it legalized.

ya that would work but the majority of people dont vote for people who are for decriminalizing it, let alone legalizing it. its a good idea but it just wouldnt work. we HAVE to get someone in office though, so norml should start spreading the word about weed. how u say? COMMERCIALS!!!! 99.9% of people watch tv, and if more of us would just donate any extra money we have, it could be done.

Well, in Nevada we started a petition to decriminalize marijuana and it got 37%! That might sound terrible, but its a start.

Similiar thing should be oushed elsewhere. I know the MPP started the one in Nevada so maybe one of you could get the MPP to do it in your state.

Of course, they're only going to agree if you, yourself agree to help collect signatures and such....

Also, it's always niec to start a NORML or MPP afiliate in your town. All politics is local and by having local affliates Marijuana groups can more easily push their grassroots style activism.
