Sorry have no idea what I'm doing. I'm looking for some help. I'm writing a paper on marijuana for a class. I'm trying to get some unbiased information. It seems that most of the info I've found though has been filtered by the government. I'm just looking for some basic info for an informative paper. Factual stuff mostly. If you can help that would be great.

Well, seeing how this forum is for introductions and this isn't an introduction, I'm gonna move it to the lounge.

I'd see if you can find a copy of The Emperor Wears No Clothes. I wouldn't buy it just for this paper though, because it's about $50 and that's a lot for a high school student to spend on research materials (though buying it so you can read it in depth for your own edification is certainly a good reason to drop the cash if you have it).

Check around online for studies done by colleges on it. They're more likely to be unbaised than privately funded or government ordered studies. If I remember the name correctly, I believe there's a professor in the SUNY system named Mitch Earleywine who's done a lot of research on the subject.

EDIT- I just looked up Mitch Earleywine, and he also has a book out called "Understanding Marijuana: A New Look at the Scientific Evidence." It's also much more reasonably priced, at about $20 for a new copy off Amazon. So maybe that might be a better resource for you.

Actually Jack Herer's The Emperor Wears No Clothes is online, absolutely free.

I used it extensively, as well as many other resources, even looked up the ones he used, on a research paper I wrote about the legalization of hemp and how it can save our country. Good luck, let us how you do.
