I just watched the debate for decriminalization of marijuana on MSNBC between NORML Executive Director Keith Stroup and a flunky from ONDCP. The ONDCP rep spouted the same old lies and Keith put her in her place.

There's no dobut that the NORML Director dogged ONDCP. It was great, hope everyone got to see it.

I don't know if it will be on MSNBC again CheebaMonkey, it was on the Pat Buchanan and Press show. I suspect it will be on the NORML or MPP site soon.

It was great! If you get a chance to see it, check it out.

I also heard the anti-drug war Superior court Judge James Grey kicked Drug Czar John Walter's ass in some debate!

I'm just glad to see the marijuana legalization issue getting some national coverage. Get the information out there so the public can decide.

The ONDCP flunky was Dr. Andrea Barthwell and she made no conclusive statements warranting the continued illegality of marijuana.

Three times she said the same thing, that "the evidence worldwide is compelling" regarding the drug's illegal status and the physical harm associated with it.
At no time did she cite sources to back up her claims.

It is amazing and shocking to me that this kind of non-specific rhetoric is keeping a naturally occurring plant from being legal.
