|  If Marijuana was decriminalized..... I was just wondering if it was, what would that mean would happen if someone was caught with some weed? |

| if it were decriminalized...you would not be punished if you were caught with weed. at least, if my definition of decriminalization is right...

| It means no jail time and no criminal record. It's like a traffic ticket. You could still have to pay a fine. |

| It would be the same as a traffic ticket. No court, no jailtime, but possibly a small fine. The problem is that police that would normally turn their head in some parts of the US and Canada will be more prone to reigning their authority over you in that all they have to do is give a ticket. Also, if you're from Texas, view the Legalization forum, then the Texas Sub Forum. Hopefully it will pass :-)
