Yah, I can see a cop comming up to me and hassling me if I was smoking up in public, but I can't see it going anywhere really. A slap on the wrist and a lecture from my parents, who are pretty much cool with my smoking anyways. Heh.

Hopefully they don't pass legislation to recriminalize posession. Either way, I haven't had any problems with the man but it would be nice to see the government finally doing the right thing.

yet the laws of this country saw fit to make me a criminal for growing a fricken plant....

that is one example, a mild one, of what these unjust laws have done to hundreds of thousands of innocent law abiding citizens

it's long over due but people need to make a stand now while we got them.

and one more thing ,off topic, they (the gov) can't even grow med pot! the paitiants are all sending it back sayin it's crap! lol

I can grow better pot in my basement and these dodos are supossed to be scientists

A lot of the reason that the gov.'s MJ is ****ty is because they have no knowledge about growing Cannabis. As weird as it sounds, they don't know what we know about cultivation. It will take time for the research to compile before they produce some really kind buds. Thank God Canada had their **** together on this one. Hopefully the US will wake up in the next couple of years.

Only a few more months untill the new decriminalization laws come into place!
( for those who don't know, the new laws will make up to 15 grams punishable by a 250$ max. fine) The new laws will also DOUBLE the sentence for growers !!!!!!!

If you possess 25 plants or more, you can go to jail FOR UP TO 14 YEARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That is so confusing. Sound somewhat like the dutch situation. Anyways, good to hear Canada taking a more sensible approach to cannabis than their Southern neighbours.

Maybe this is interesting for Canadians, as I think you might be able to read some french, a belgian lawproposal for legalization (or is it decriminalization) of MJ dating oct 8th '03. I like the part where dutch, belgian, canadian and australian experts conclude legalization is not against the '61 or '88 UN convention;
