Default Presidential Candidates

Several candidates are supportive of legalization...

My favorite is Mike Gravel. I invite anyone who supports another candidate in favor of legalization to post their opinions, videos, etc in this thread.

I also would like anyone who likes to challenge this statement:

Mike Gravel is by far the most marijauna-friendly candidate running for office.

Watch the video below for a good laugh. It's trippy and weird...so I suggest being in the proper state before viewing

Man, that was awsome! I dig Gravel, he's a cool mule. Although, I did see a video where he was talking in strong favor of a globalization policy. When it comes to globalization, I haven't decided how I feel about it yet. There are many pros, and many more cons. Either way, I think that is' safe to say that that was the trippiest campaign video in the history of politics. Right now John Lennon's probably spinning like a lathe.

Is he really a candidate? Can you say that he is a legitimate candidate? Clinton is a candidate. Obama is a candidate. Edwards is a candidate. All the others are just flying monkees who are there to entertain everyone.

So...democracy has no chance?

It's sad when the man (Gravel) who singlehandedly challenged and fillibustered the end of the draft, effectively ending the Vietnam war, decides to run for president in a time when we're in a situation mirroring that in so many ways - and gets absolutely zero respect SIMPLY BECAUSE THE MEDIA WILL NOT GIVE IT TO HIM.

I hope for your sake and mine it's not Hillary or Giuliani (Or obama or romney).

Or we are screwed.

A bit more informative.

No, he doesn't act like most candidates. Doesn't really hold back.
Don't we need someone open? honest?

A bit longer.
I suggest anybody remotely interested take a look, and watch a few more videos?

What makes a candidate serious?
I don't know, honestly. I have no idea.

He's registered. He raises a bit of money. He's genuine.
He's a candidate because so many want him elected and because he's running.
Not because of what the media or polls tell you. If you can't see any media manipulation in the election, you're blind. If you don't think the people can or will do anything about it, then what's the point in caring?

Sometimes I have to take a step back and review all media, not just the bright bulbs of early evening newscasts. Media mainipulation? Maybe. But is there anything wrong with the owner of a station having a favorite? It is, after all, a public enterprise privately owned, meaning it relies on the public and ratings to see what is going to sell.

Politics? I really think we do something as citizen's, but wonder if the people we elect really care or listen to us after they get elected..........

I guess we're screwed then. The media chases the front runners based on polls taken by various news groups. Gravel isn't even on the radar. The people who are on the left of Jane Fonda are not credible candidates and are just fillers for the debates.

Default Vote Ron Paul/Marijuana Okay

All it requires is that you change policy. If you get out and vote you can change what is and is not allowed in the United States. Candidates like Ron Paul are cool, they don't care what you do as long as you aren't hurting anyone. If you don't know who Ron Paul is, YouTube him. I ride around with a sign that says "Vote Ron Paul/Marijuana Okay". Cops don't like me much. Spread the word.
