This probably should be under the legalization forum, but this kinda qualifies for both topics.

You all remember the "Operation Pipe Dream" issued by the United States Governement, right?

Operation Pipe Dream is the governements' theory and dream to elimate all Internet headshops basically. The theory behind this is totally wrong.

1) How many kids have Credit-Cards, and are going to order from an online headshop that sells bongs, and shows up on your parents credit card?

2) The majority of the buyers on these sites are older adults.

3) Just take the fact that a kid did have access to his or her own credit card, and bought something off the online headshop, he or she would be smoking in healthy surroundings and/or devices.

On the other side of this, there is the fact that one must be forced to smoke out of devices that can cause potentially more long-term and possibly short-term effects.

Aluminum Foil is a big one among people underage, and what happens if a headshop is forced to close? Who made up this Asscrap law.

Im not trying to flame or anything, I just wanted to point out a few things.

When I was younger I did exactly that, I know atleast 3 others who did it as well. Im sure there is more.

Is that a fact? I mean if you think about it, i'll bet atleast half are teenagers.

Not saying that I agree with the act at all, I would hate for anything marijuana related to get shutdown. I just don't think your reasons are very fullproof.

Just a random informational fact, Jerry Garcia used tin-foil in the period right before his coma, although it wasn't for weed usage. Just felt like stating it's an overage problem too.

I'm underage, the nearest headshop is about 45 minutes away. Being I have no ride, guess how I buy all my bongs/pipes? Either from other kids, or by sending in money orders to online sites :-d....In fact, I just picked up strawberry papers, an aqua pipe (definate a must have), and some salvia D via money order.

Maybe the waterpipe industry should have taken their role as sellers differently in some ways. Now I dont know if any of these suggestions would work but Ill throw them out here to start some conversation at least. Now I have read every thing I could on the recent operation pipe dreams and let me state I am totally against it and not because I support the legalization of mj but because I think it is a freedom to be able to posess a damn pipe if you want to no matter what it looks like. Now the owner of Chills insists that he did everything according to law and he is now in jail. Thats just my first point. Now maybe if the waterpipe manufacturers would have treated there industry as that of the adult porn industry. We have a lot of similarities between the twon when it comes to one thing the Govt ****s on both constantly! It should be our choice to do what ever we want as long as its adult to adult and we should be able to own a pipe while we do it!

Sorry this seems to be going on so long. Maybe there should have been a way to age verify a customer before they purchase a waterpipe from your website. Many adult sites use this. Could say the former Jerome Baker glass blowing company make you agree that your intent is solely tobacco related or other legal smoking herb as stated on the reciept that you recieve that way the intent of the purchaser could not be placed on seller? I dont know what else they could do outside of relocating to another country. However I believe that with so many companys getting shut down that other are going to have to spring up in there place it is inevitable lega or illegal waterpipes I dont believe are going anywhere.
