| I have no knowledge of the whole legalization thing, or the process that we'd have to go through for the whole thing. I have no idea how "close" we are in America to having marijuana legalized. I don't think it will happen during my lifetime though, simply because I don't think something that cool could ever happen now. ![]() Hopefully my beliefs will be proven wrong in the near future. ![]() |

| Barry R. McCaffrey, head of the Clinton White House Office of Drug Enforcement initiated one of the largest studies ever on MJ in an attempt to DISprove legalization theories that it is not dangerous. This is not a clinton-bash; Just trying to balance the scales. Legalization goes beyond party lines. Even REP Gov. Gary Johnson of NM is for full legalization http://www.newsmax.com/commentmax/pr...99/3/24/073221 -- A great pro-legalization articile from the archives of a "conservative" news site ![]() More unflattering ammo re Clinton White House and medical pot---> http://www.newsmax.com/commentarchiv...99/3/25/072820 http://www.newsmax.com/articles/?a=2000/3/23/195213 --- Gore was a hypocrite being a regular user (he lied too) but being part of a White House that extended the WAR against pot. http://www.newsmax.com/commentmax/pr...00/1/20/100559 ---> PROOF AGAINST CLINTON: ""Clinton spent more federal money in the war on drugs in his first four years than was spent during Reagan's and Bush's 12 years combined," said Dr. Thomas H. Haines, City University of New York medical school professor and chair of the Partnership for Responsible Drug Information. My point is: Start thinking for yourself using the facts rather than believing what "feels" good. ~peace~ ![]()

| It's becoming a political issue now so marijuana legalization is on the horizon. http://www.norml.org/index.cfm?Group_ID=5722 The moderate Republicans and liberal Democrates are flooding onto the political scene and change is certain. Do your part, register to vote, and vote only for those candidates who support the legalization (or at least decriminalization) in every election. The American people are finally starting to realize their rights and powers under the constitution. Our Administrators (White House staff) and Representatives are public servants, no more. Their charter is to do what we tell them to do. With the decline and fall of the religious organizations, political clout will fall to the majority. |
