I don't think that marijuana will any time soon. There are just to many crimes that were caused by marijuana. It's all because of those immature smokers who get stoned and then goes off and does something stupid. Not to many people out there are responsible users. I'm not gonna say there are none out there because there are but there are just to many irresponsible users out there to change the laws of marijuana.





Remember it's all about the pride for the cannabis.

Got a question for ya. What crimes are you referring to? Marijuana doesn't cause violent behavior and it doesn't dillute you judgement entirely to the point that you decide to go rob a bank. The only crimes are those that are for possesion.

i think that the gov is afraid to make pot legal cause if they make it legal the oil industry and all kinds of **** will fall and farmers and the people growing and selling pot will make the money cause with pot legal it could be used for a bunch of **** (and better to) so they just dont want there economy to go down and a new economy (better one at that) to come up , ya know.

Like I've said before (or at least thought it)...Legalize, sell in
liquor stores, or the equivalent, and can not operate a motor
vehicle whilst ripped...even though I believe one is safer stoned
than drunk as a monkey driving.............................

On the basis that marijuana is illegal because it causes people do stupid **** is absurd. If the government based the legality of drugs on the harm it caused and stupid **** it "caused" people to do, then the government wouldn't have ended alcohol prohibition.

Marijuana is illegal because nixon&friends allowed the evil controlled substance act, and a while before that some assholes started a deal where marijuana could only be legally bought, sold, and possesed with marijauna tax stamps. Suprisingly enough they never made or released the tax stamps, and when brought to the supreme court they allowed it regardless that these stamps were not being made nor distributed.

Now its all a matter of opinion, but I can't imagine marijuana being legalized in America until there is an end to the frivolous war on some drugs and to add to that, hell freezes over.

Ok, my hypothesis on why its illegal is not that it cause people to do stupid dillwinquent stuff but people that were already in a criminal frame of mind start smoking it too rebel from authoritys (i.e. parents, teachers, classmates and so on). If it were not illegal it would not be seen as the median of rebeling, its those bastards who make us true mellow potheads look bad.
