Default Just want to know???

I am new to this sight. So please understand that if this has been talked about before I am sorry to waist time.

Question: If the legalization of marijuana happened say next mounth.

What type of laws would you have to some what control the use?

Would any age of person be able to smoke it? Or would there be an age limit like tobbacco?

As a police officer I offten hear the reasons for legalization, but never what to do if it happend. Please let me know what you think should be done to regulate it.

Either you have very fat fingers, or you are the reason i got off on 2 felonies and 2 misdemeanors last time around. I would issue pothead id's and tax the hell out of 'em. I'd also raise the penalties for smoking in public. 18 or older and i'd set larger fines for being in possesion without a license. Welcome to cheaptalk occifer.

pothead id's are a good idea if weed gets decriminalized or legalized, it would show that you are a responsible, mature marijuana user

Granted, this would be WAY better than the present situation, but this just goes to show ya how much people have been programmed & brainwashed by decades of propaganda & outright lies.
We're talking about a natural plant that's much less addictive than caffeine, & less harmfull, yet people feed their kids caffeine regularly & think nothing of it.
And alchohol & tobacco are SO much more hazardous & deadly than mj that it doesn't even deserve comparison...... on ANY level.
...And we haven't even begun with all the theraputic benefits that millions of people could derive from legal medical use.

To me this is the most bizarre aspect of this totally screwy society.

If it was legalized I would say there should be an age limit of 18...if not 21. I don't want to see a bunch of kids smoking personally.

Also no smoking in public, just like there is no drinking....in public. Unless you were in a restraunt or bar with a designated driver.

I'll agree with you there, but I still don't think kids should be smoking marijuana or anything for that matter. Also I don't think they should eat it or consume it in any way shape or form, kids are far to immature to be getting high.

What's a 'kid'?

It was inevitable that they should make that claim sooner or later: the logic of their position demanded it. Not merely the validity of experience, but the very existence of external reality, was tacitly denied by their philosophy. The heresy of heresies was common sense. And what was terrifying was not that they would kill you for thinking otherwise, but that they might be right. For, after all, how do we know that two and two make four? Or that the force of gravity works? Or that the past is unchangeable? If both the past and the external world exist only in the mind, and if the mind itself is controllable what then?"
