| Its not too late, marijuana is still legal in canada (ontario at least). This is the best time for legalization in canada, and i would hate to see it destroyed by re-criminilization policy written by Bush! "In July 2000, the Ontario Court of Appeal struck down the section of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act prohibiting possession of less than 30 grams of marijuana. In the ruling, the court agreed that the possession law violated the federal charter rights of Terry Parker, a man suffering from severe epilepsy who'd been arrested twice by Toronto police for cultivation and possession of the drug." Isnt it obvious "decriminilization" is just a quick rush to make it illegal again? I want to design a 1 page flyer to post here that everyone in canada on these boards can print off and tape to any telephone pole in thier neighborhoods to educate others that cannabis IS be legal in canada, and that according to OUR charter of rights, laws prohibiting cannabis DO NOT EXIST! (police and some courts do not seem to be aknowledging this law) Its not too late, we still have the right to life, liberty and security under Section 7 of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms.
