really appreciate the replys...i figured if we could all quite smoking pot for a year it would drastically change the flow of black market cash forcing our government to take some sort of action being it giving us some slack or otherwise...if we could all quit for a year that would have to make some kind of a statement sublimincal or not that would massively disprove alot of BullS*&T propaganda used to keep us potsmokers under the thumb of the rockafeller democracy owning this country. i just don't think we accomplish anything when we tell the minds of those we are trying to change they have no controll cuz the first response is denial and such of the like...any ways appreciate the input and continuing to do what i can to help the cause.

I think that the government's prohibition laws are a form of fascism not democracy. Simply put its not our fault in a whole that it is illegal. Have you read Jack Herer's The Emperor Wears No Clothes?

1) Because unenlightened masses do not recognize that this community's tragedy is everybody's tragedy. These same unenlightened think they're protecting the little children, or some other such nonsense, when they vote down marijuana legalization.
2) Because the representatives and sworn leaders and protectors are either themselves unenlightened, or violently hypocritical.
3) Because stoners, as a group, are not the most... shall we say, "confrontational"...? people out there.

I hesitate to say we are to blame... for we had nothing to do with the inception of either cannabis prohibition, or the war on drugs. Cannabis users as a group are not criminals. We are, however RESPONSIBLE for ending it. For, who will end it, if not us? Blacks got the vote, not because other parties took up their cause, but because Martin Luther King and Malcolm X did. Rosa Parks sat down on that bus. See where I'm going with this? If we don't want to be free bad enough, who will free us, for us?

However, it's much harder to change people's opinions about things that are a choice than about things of which you have no choice.

If you are black and being discriminated against, you can stand up and yell loudly what is happening, and as people become aware of your plight they begin to recognize that you shouldn't be persecuted for something that you have no choice about.

It's much harder to get people to accept marijuana, because it's a choice we make and not something we are born with.
