Who says that there will be a limit on THC levels in cannabis if it ever becomes legalized? I don't see why that would happen. Right now Everclear is 95% alcohol and legal to buy (in some states). So it wouldn't make much sense to limit THC levels in plants. I'm sure that if the states were educated as to why high potency weed is better to smoke than lower potency (less smoking), they would not put limits on THC levels.

I don't think the dime bag will ever drop in price because it means $10 for a bag of weed. The difference is though if mj was legalized, you would get much more weed for your money, thus larger dime bags.

If weed were legalized, do you think the "black market" would continue? All these dealers are making a lot of money illegally already, so would they just decide to stop and pay taxes and the such on the bud because its the legal thing to do?

I'd say the black market would pretty much die.

Consider alcohol. Would you rather go to a liqour store, buy some vodka for example, know the exact potency and what's in it? Or buy it from some stranger, and the potency is unknown, you dunno if it's been cut with anything harmful, and what it tastes like?

lol, depending on quality, a teaspoon "sampler" of weed would be about all you'd need for a smoke, so I doubt it'd happen.

After prohibition, just as with the mafia-run alcohol black market in the midwest, the black market would die. people would much rather walk into a convenience store, know exactly what they're getting and not risk involvement with the illegal elements of society.

however, a lot of people, especially the more rural you go, make their own wine/beer, and some even sell it tax free, which is illegal under current laws (at least in alabama). I bet you'd see that. Probably every major city, though, would have at least one guy interested in starting a business growing (probably an ex-dealer). since he wouldn't have to grow all sneaky like, he could grow on mass scale, and make a nice profit while still cutting prices. Perhaps he would overcharge; I dunno. Price would really depend on how much competition there would be in that market.

Weed is bricked so it can be transported more discretely. If it were legalized, more than likely the stuff that would have been bricked will just be in bud form, but weed in brick form will most definitely dissapear.
