Exclamation GREAT ORIGINAL QUESTION!!

For anyone that thinks Dems support pot (including Clinton/Gore) read this post and the hyperlinks therein.
http://cheaptalk.marijuana.com/420/s...322#post224322

Now that business is done, regarding the topic here:

Have you heard the talk on the news about "high-nicotine" cigs and higher "freebase" nicotine delivery in certain cigs (i.e. American Spirit??) It sounds to me that this is a foreshadowing of more government restrictions on a legal product are fast approaching.
Given this, YES it is reasonable to assume that the feds will "limit" and "regulate" the amount of THC in your pot smokes....that is IF it is legalized.
They've already scared people about ma huang such that it is almost impossible to buy anymore.

Personally, I think the US is starting to look less and less like the land of the free.

Forget free samples. I want to be the quality control guy that has to test MJ all day long and get paid for it! Now there's a job!

Farmers are a lot more sophisticated than you think they are. Heck, you just about have to have a Master's Degree to be successful in farming these days. So no problem there, the Farmers will crack the code on growing good quality marijuana.

As far as distribution, I imagine a cigarette stand at the counter in liquor stores with swisher sweet style packages of marijuana with 5 cigarettes for $12.50 (equivalent to current street prices.)

Sure, there'll be people who grow their own just like there're people who brew their own beer. But by and large, the public will just stop at the beer barn on there way home and pick up a pack of Marijuana Sweets.

Cheebamonkey is definatly right on this. The black market would die because people would no longer trust the dealer whom they do not know. We would either buy it from stores where the type, potency etc. is labeled or we would grow our own and no longer have the need to buy. I think a minimul amount of people would be buying weed from stores either because more potent weed can be grown at your home, and you know EXACTLY what your smoking..

I think everyone's hopes, predictions, and dreams of pot being legal, are way over the top. I mean, once pot is legal people will be upset about the restrictions, and fight them, and never be satisfied, I honestly think that there would be no significant difference in the way it's used, and sold, weather it was totally legal or just decriminalised, probally just not as costly.
