Sorry to say we went down in defeat this time. 152-273. Story . Progress is being made though. There is a link in that story where you can go and see how your rep voted and either send a thank you fax or a chew 'em out fax depending on their vote. I sent a thank you fax to mine. ![]() Please consider donating to MPP as well, in my opinion this organization is doing everything in their power to further our goals and doing a pretty damn good job at it. I raise my bowl to the good fight. ![]() Plains

Its sad that the measure lost in Congress, but we are definately getting progressively closer to our goals. Im glad the Congress is allowed to vote on similar ideas multiple times as long as they are raised on different bills. I wish someone would attach that type of clause to a bill on a unilaterally supported act. This would be similar to how they got the RAVE act passed. Except this would be progressive, not regressive.

I e-mailed before the vote and sent a letter after the vote expressing my disappointment in his no vote, asked him why, and asked him to support other measures presently in Congress in support of states rights to medical marijuana. No answer yet. I don't worry too much about identifying myself. I've made no secret that I support marijuana legalization. If they want to bust me for the small quantity I keep around for personal use, big deal. I'll pay the little fine and go on my way.
