I am going to go to college in a few months and have no idea what I want to do. I can pay for as much school as I want but I cant see myself doing the same thing every day unless it really made a difference. The only thing I can think of that would be worth while is if I could some how fight the war on drugs. I've already seen my 2 bests friends lives ruined by it and I'm sick of this war. what kind of degree should I try and get? a law degree?

The only thing that comes to mind would be a Doctors Degree(M.D). Maybe even Human Rights

Trying to find a degree to fight the war on drugs is a REALLY broad statement. There are so many ways to fight the war on drugs. You have to question yourself in what you want to do.

Do you want to defend people who have been wrongly accused in your mind by the war on drugs?
Do you want to be a political speaker on decriminalizing the plant?
Do you want to teach patients about marijuana, and help patients by being a doctor and prescribing medical marijuana?
Do you want to conducts studies on marijuana and it's health effects?

You see? You need to think for yourself in what ways you would like to fight the war.
And then again, whoever says you need a degree to fight the war on drugs? There are plenty of things you can do yourself that would greatly help. Speak out, write letters to your state or federal officials, donate to NORML, or numerous other organizations.
Don't think just because you're a regular joe your voice doesn't matter

A degree in public policy may also be something to look into.

That would be the title of the thread. What he said in his post was that he's sick of this war which would indicate he's looking to fight against the war on drugs. It needs to be qualified, because "fight the war on drugs" doesn't actually say which side you're on.
