It's not really sad -- it happens. I happened to see Vicki's thread because it was made about when I logged on tonight. What do you want us to do? I'm sure shibshib isn't offended.

Besides, ain't it the news mods to post shit like this?!? This is kind of a big deal in the world of Marijuana legalization, and this is a Marijuana legalization forum, yet I don't see it anywhere in our wonderful News section -- now thats sad.

What do you think of the bill in question Dark?

I think it's a great idea, but I think its farfetched. Let's face it, 3.5 oz is a lot of weed, especially to people who don't smoke. It's great that it's a step forward, maybe will get even more support then ever before, but I doubt it will pass.

I saw her post in New Posts, it was the first or second thing listed. I never go to the individual forums. And this is a HUGE thing for the Marijuana legalization movement, you'd figure our News Admins would be on top of this!!! Those other news stories don't hold a candle in the wind to this articles relevance to this forum.

You could possess marijuana and not have to worry about being busted? That makes responsible users basically reduce a lot of the risk involved with marijuana usage ; personal consumption. I mean most of the people that get caught are just regular smokers.

Besides, this is a big step ; it shows that " the bill sends a message to state governments that the federal government is now open to the notion of states reducing their marijuana penalties, too. "
