| Many of us are about to receive some "free money". For some reason beyond my comprehension, it has been decided that the way to stimulate our flagging economy is to borrow yet another $150 billion dollars from China and pass it out to the taxpayers. This is an opportunity. We can take this money, or some of it, and plow it back into getting marijuana legalized at the federal level, once and for all. There is currently a bill in the House that would legalize possession of up to 3.5 ounces of weed. It doesn't go as far as I'd like, but I understand that first steps must be tiny ones. It's on shaky ground and has a lot of powerful opponents in the pharmaceutical and alcohol lobbies. Lobbying costs a lot of money and the people who do it for us are continually strapped for funds because 24,000,000 cannabis consumers can only seem to get up $18,000,000 a year to support them (half coming from a few billionaires). Big Pharma and Big Booze have no such problems. I'm getting $300. The day the Treasury check shows up in my mailbox, a donation of $100 is going to NORML and the another to MPP. I'll never miss it and it just might be the "stimulus" to get Congress to finally start catching up with public opinion. I challenge you to do the same. National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws (NORML) Marijuana Policy Project (MPP) Drug Policy Alliance (DPA)

| Amen, as a month long member of NORML I was planning on giving a lot back this summer when I get a steady income. But i didn't even think about using my Tax refund and the stimulus check in that way, thanks Buzzby. |

| I'm getting around 500, and I'm giving the entire thing to NORML, MPP, DPA, etc. Not taking a penny of that ''free money''. |
