Default Barack Obama will decriminalize!

Barack Obama is a smart guy and I believe him when he says people will not be going to jail for weed in the States. I am from Canada but I believe easier penalties in the states will lead to even more leniency over here.

Barack has admitted to smoking marijuana habitually as a teenager. He has a sense of what real people are thinking! VOTE BARACK!! Encourage others to also!

Sorry if this has been said around here before but I am new and I just want people to know that Obama has said he will decriminalize it!

So would Ron Paul... sadly he won't win... so now we are only left with douches.

My "hierarchy" of who I would vote for was basically:

1. Ron Paul
2. --
3. --
4. --
5. --
6. --
7. --
8. --
9. --
10. --
11. --
12. --
13. Obama
14. --
15. --
16. --move to Canada--
17. Hillary
18. --suicide--
19. McCain

Lol... well, I love sunny southern california, but I also love canada =P.

As for Obama... idk... I just don't see him as an opportunity for greatness, but rather a last resort.

Just for what I can scrounge up:

-Supports the Death Penalty (not sure if this is true... one site said he did, another seems to say he doesn't)
-Promised to repeal Patriot Act, then the douche voted for it.
-Voted against banning partial birth abortion.
-Supports affirmative action in colleges and government.
-Supports the idea of RealID, just fumbles with the financial parts
-Supports granting driver's licenses to illegal immigrants.
-He's rated 8% by USBC, indicating an open-border stance.

I also really hate how he is half white and half black, yet he never seems to appeal to the white side... I thought maybe he would help end the racial divide, but then he goes and does stuff like this:

It was petty and it makes me lose what little respect i had for the man.

People really need to get over the black and white issue! I'm sure he appeals in many ways to white people, but its true that the black community needs help. People that don't like him because he isn't black or white enough aren't voting for the right reasons anyways.

I'll thank you not to misinterpret my post.

Me not liking him much has nothing to do with the fact that he is "not white" or "not black" enough... it has everything to do with a person that took something innocent like a woman using the word "monkeys" in reference to a bunch of kids up in the tree, then the media takes it and runs with it to make it look like she is a racist... and low and behold, instead of Obama sticking up for her and pointing out how much nonsense it was, he distances himself from her and takes the spineless way out.

You're very right, voting for someone based on the color of their skin is wrong... however when a candidate acts a certain way due to their race, then it should definitely weigh in on the voters.

Racism != Noticing Race



edit: And just to point something out... the majority of my post was about various positions of Obama, and I only added a little bit at the end referencing how I disagree with his position regarding the woman. But even though the majority of my post was not about race, race was still big enough of an issue in your eyes to merit a response dedicated it.

It's cool if I dislike him due to his border policies, voting history, etc... but god forbid I mention a race issue. :rollseyes:

its a little too late for Ron Paul now. Vote for whoever you feel would be the best leader of the country, but know that he has about as good of chance of winning as Mickey Mouse as he has dropped out.

On the not of Obama, he has not said that he will decriminalize, i do not know where you are getting this idea.
