Probably. The government will want it's share of the pie, I'm certain.
The bulk of the cost of marijuana presently is the "risk factor" because it's illegal. If the risk factor is removed, you would expect that prices would drop.
I'd hope so. But nobody really knows, since we can't see into the future.

I wish with all my heart that weed would become legal,lets put the dying horse out of it's misery,no pot will never become totally legal they may lower it so far that it should be legal but then what would the feds do for extra money?Or the nice houses they can confiscate then turn around and sell for extra money,or cars and the list goes on,but I will keep wishing with you,and maybe one day our wishes will come true.

I'm not a member of the "Lets Keep Pot Illegal" conspiracy. You know, the one founded by the Big Drug Companies. Once opinions change significantly throughout the voting public, then MJ will become a legal substance. If Canada and Mexico legalize it then it will be legal by default in this country.

At first I don't think the prices will drop as those who already have it (dealers with pounds or more) will still want to get their money out of their investment, and it won't be as widely available. Once more and more people can supply it then of course the price will drop...
