| This is the most fucked up shit ever. For several years I've had this strange, unknown condition that gives me pain (tightness) in my arms and hands, and occasionally the trapezius neck muscles. I've been MRId and given tests for nerve functionality, all of which came back normal. This whole time, smoking weed has never been a problem, and even tended to make me feel better, but now all the sudden within the past 2 months, every time i smoke the symptoms become remarkably worse, and sometimes I even get the feeling of losing sensation in my arms. Now the only way I can comfortably smoke is if I drink alcohol in conjunction, as alcohol for some fucking reason always nullifies the pain entirely, without exception. Not even percocet did shit to help my pain. Have you guys ever heard of anything so bizarre? edit: i'd like to add that about 2 weeks after the troubles started, my arms and hands quit bothering me and when I smoked i no longer had the problem. then the next week everything came back ![]() Last edited by bbbworship : 06-08-2008 at 08:34 AM. |

| Have you been smoking the same weed for the past two months? If so, try to get a different strain. Some weed has a bigger effect on the body than others. |

| i don't think it's bizarre at all... marijuana has never worked well as a pain reliever for me, usually making any pain i have worse. for my body, the only medicinal use i've found is that it's good to use for anti-nausea. just quit smoking if it's making your pain worse.
