Default Could I medical card in California? Fibromyalgia

I have been diagnosed with severe myofascial trigger points in my back. Some of you said that this is a joke issue, but the level of pain I get from stretching my trigger points is insane. Some refer to this problem as fibromyalgia. Trigger points are contracted muscles that won't let go and they are like knots/hard spots on your muscle. They are very very tender and very painful.

I typed in "marijuana trigger points" in Google and it appears Marijuana is used to treat this issue.

I am not planning to stay with this problem because it can be fixed with 8-10 weeks of special therapy (which is very painful).

I travel all over US through my company and I will going to California within the next month and I am wondering if I can get my medical marijuana card...

You likely qualify for a "Doctor's Recommendation".
That will gain you access to a very limited number of dispensaries.
To gain full access vis a vis a State Card you'll need to establish residency in the State.
I believe that's the case if you want a City or County issued card as well.

If I were you I'd check in with http://norml.org/index.cfm?Group_ID=3376

All the best...

As has been demonstrated repeatedly by journalists, anyone can get a Medical Marijuana recommendation in California. If you're a minor, you need a parent's written permission along with a doctor's recommendation. You need to be a resident in order to apply for a card, but the card isn't mandatory.
