Well my family has had a long history of having Migraine's and I guess it runs in our gene's so of course I've got it too =\

What I've noticed is whenever I smoke my migraines become significantly less, if they dont completely disappear. I cant ever recall having a bad headache while high, in fact it gives me a lot of relief to smoke when I do have one.

So it is possible to get a Medical Marijuana Permit for having Migraines? As I've found it gives me relief.

Like many things, it depends on your state. If you are in california, I can say its a definite yes.

The main thing to do is take some notes about your migraines, how they feel, how long they last, how often you have them, etc. Bring any current medication you take (I'm not sure how bad yours, get... a friend of mine has to go to the hospital for 2 shots when she gets a bad migraine).

Take that information with you, including any proof of prior condition, and go straight to a marijuana doctor. They will be the ones that have the authority to decide if you meet the requirements or not.

I have had bad migraines since high school... usually a horrible, bed-ridden one every month or so. I've only had one since I started vaping marijuana (it's been over 4 months).

Nothing knocks a migraine--or any pain as far as I am concerned--out quite like a nice purple indica.

If you don't see migraines under conditions for your state, see if it says something like this for California:

That basically means the doctor can deem your condition "medical marijuana" worthy.
