Hi I I wanted to first tell u a little bit about my self before I tell u my problem........

I'ma 24 year old male, I am 6'3 and weigh about 285. I have been smoking pot heavy, very heavy for about 6 years. I mean I haven't missed 1 day of smoking until this happened in atleast 3 or 4 years. Also I was smoking about 5 joints a day on average so I'm not a newbie......ok here is the story.......I had my wisdom teeth pulled a few weeks ago and didn't smoke any for about 5 days, it had been first time in many years taking even a day off. Well I finally smoked again......by the way I only smoke hydo, so thats about 5 joints a day of dro. Anyway I smoked about half a crip jay by my self and about a hour later my hands went numb, like I could touch my face with my hands but it didn't feel like I was touching my face. Also the back of my head went numb too. I could touch the back of my head with my hand but it fealt like I couldn't tell my hand was there. So it started to freak me out and I took a cold shower but feeling didn't go away. I came real close to going to the ER. But ended up laying down and falling asleep. when I woke I felt fine. I smoked the day after that and felt fine(shwag). Then a few days later it happened agian, but feeling went away within a hour or so. Then today I smoked and felt the same feeling agian only this time my heart felt kinda funny, my heart never felt funny the other times. My question is what do u guys think it is....I know none of you are doctors but this has gotten me worried.......Also before now I had never ever felt any thing like this, I have took rolls I have done acid I have took pills and smoked with all 3. All when I was younger tho. Any one know what could be wrong plz answer.........................thx very much for ur time

well, it might be the pain meds ur doc gave you, what are they? they could have some kind of reaction or some **** i dunno for sure tho, im fried

No I don't think its that, unless they can cause a effect days later cause the last 2 times I haven't been on anything but weed..............ur fried.....lol....wish I could be but right now i'm to worried

go to the doctor.

and be honest. your doctor won't tell anybody that you smoke, but he will be able to help you diagnose the problem

If you're unsure about it, go get it checked out. My guess, however, is that your mind is playing tricks on you.

There are many people who feel like something is numb when they smoke - legs, for example - so it probably won't kill you (Satisfying reassurance? hur hur hur.. sorry).

Thx for the advice guys.................i'm qutting smoking for a while and going to do a hour of cardio a day........this stuff only happens when I smoke which really really sucks, but oh well..............I would rather not have these feelings than be high and have them...............thx agian

You probably just got a hold of some good sh*t
That happens to me every now and then, I'll get a hold of some neon light green bud with orange hairs coverd with crystals, take1 hit, then start getting all paranoid, my heart begins to beat really fast and everything starts going slow motion, I'll lay down and try to sleep it off but the high wont go away, then I get a seizure type felling my body go's numb it's a horrible feeling.
There's nothing much you can really do about the "trip" but next time you blaze a joint take a small hit and butt it out for a while and if you fell ok take another small hit, just don't over do it and if you're doctor gave you any kind of medication be straight up with him and ask if it's ok to smoke Marijuana while taking prescription medications.

maybe the weed is interacting with something they gave you when you got your wisdom teeh out. I've still got my wisdom teeth, but at times my mouth says things that arn't too wise.

had been having the pain off and on for 4 days so I went to the ER. Had xrays on my lungs and a ekg done.......which is like a heart xray, luckly every thing was fine and the doc told me it must be something on my outer chest, like a pulled muscle or something. He gave me 12 lortabs and some muscle relaxers and anti inflamatories, which I took around 4 pm today and now I feel good, hopefully that was it. But I was so nerves it was my heart I had walked 2 miles a day the last 2 days. Turns out he tells me I need to rest the next 2 days, so I was probably making it worse......lol...............to make a long story short if you have chest pain go get it checked out, it can only help you.............................thx agian for ur time guys. By the way I'm off the chronic for a while, when you think u might die(which I did) it really puts things into perspective.
