ok so i was just wondering if you guys could give me a few tips to reduce paranoia while smoking stoned. I've always had a great ability to maintain and stay calm and in control no matter how messed up i get (even on certain other off topic substances) but this is about pot. so ive noticed lately my level of paranoia while smoking and being stoned has gone up. nothing has changed in my routine i still smoke in the same spot and its a very safe place. let me tell you about the spot i smoke at. its a forrest area trees all around you have to walk maybe a few hundred feet to get in there and there is a bridge with water running underneath it and no body ever goes in there exept me and my friends and it is also very relaxing (with the birds singing and the sound of the water running) its very pretty and laid back. so why am i getting paranoid? i keep thinking that the people in the houses (that obviously cant see down there) are looking at us. and sometimes when im really stoned i even think they are yelling at us (which is just the kids playing and yelling in the nearby yards which still are very far away) i am usually able to calm down and relax (listening to my ipod calms me down usually) but anyways i was wondering if you guys had any tips or things you use to try and calm down and not be so paranoid

Your Paranoid Becuase Its ILLEGAL and You Can Get In ALOT Of Trouble If Your Caught.

this DOES Sound Like Anxiety. Just a Different Kind. Just Having The Ability To Be Able To Predict Future Events Is a Defense Mechanism and Survival Tool, But comes At a Price (anxiety - worry).

You are at the very least sub-consiously aware of the consequences of what you are doing - It seems that you are afraid of one of the people in the houses seeing you or your friends smoking and coming out to confront you or calling the police - you know (inside) that if caught you may face prosecution/arrest/incarceration if caught.

This scares you. Your best Bet would be not to smoke in this place if your really that worried about it (especially if its not your property), and to find some place else to do your activitys, such as at some ones house (where they need a warrant) or someplace else that is relatively safe (and has legal as well as physical barriers between you and the outside world), there is a drug war going on right now. This is a Very Interesting as Well As Dangerous Time In American (as well as World) History. Play it Safe. None of us have seen or experienced this spot so we cant really say if its safe or not, but if you honestly think its safe and want to go back, thats all up to you (there will ALWAYS be risk).

Marijuana does sometime make people feel as though they are more "paranoid" sometimes but think if it was legal, who would worry? what would there be to worry about? theres people whom have psychological problems/ilnesses whom shouldnt take to many drugs or smoke marijuana becuase it may make the symptoms worse or bring them out more, but if you got your mind together, its just worry.

Try Coffee... Just not to much (it will make your paranoia worse if you drink a whole pitcher of it). Make it GOOD with alittle cream. (if you like cream) and it will raise your awareness as well as sooth your nerves.
