|  how much resin gets built up in my lungs from smoking? i see how clogged the bowl gets after just some mild use, and it scares me to think what my lungs look like the reason im concerned is that i've been experiencing lung pain and shortness of breath lately from smoking pot. I'm 30 and have been smoking on and off for over 10 years, and have never had any issues like this until recently. I guess this summer has been kind of wild but really i haven't been smoking any more then i ever have, about an 8th per week or less. I don't smoke cigs and exercise regularly (bike riding) so im in decent shape, so this problem can only be an effect from smoking pot. I've decided to quit smoking and see if this condition clears up. So I was wondering how damaged lungs get and if they clean up and de-resinate after a while. any input would be appreciated. |

| Haven't seen any studies on this but I'm sure the lungs take a beating from smoking. I try to supplement edibles to keep the smoke down. |

| Maybe try vaporizing?  The problem would pretty much be eliminated. I would vape myself if I didn't enjoy smoking so much, I guess. I'm looking into it, maybe you should too. You don't need medical evidence to know that Smoke + Lungs = Potential Problems

| we have calculated about 0.5 pcg of "tarry resin" derived specifically from the combustion of Terpenes in the herb gets accumulated in the alveoli for every blunt that is smoked.
