OK, im gon have a physical for my basketball team and i know they put that thing on your back to hear your breathing. Its a circle thing that connects to the doctors ears. then the doctor tells you to breather a couple times to see how your lungs are. The thing is, me and my coach are really close. He use to chill with my older bros and cousins and they still do. Hes gonna be there when they check my breathing too. I caught him smokin weed a million times and the thing is that he doesnt want me doin this **** cuz he doesnt want me makin the same mistakes.

Is there a way to stop wheezing before my physical. Its saturday and my physical is on tuesday. I heard running a mile will help, is that true? and are there any other suggestions?

Wheezing (the sound your lungs make at the beginning of taking in a breath or end of exhaling) usually indicates some inflamation in the lining of your lungs. This can be caused by many different things.

It is not caused by smoking pot.

It can be exacerbated -- made worse-- by smking anything because hot air and particles of smoke are things that will irritate your lungs and inflame them. Just like getting dirt into a scratch can cause the scratch to turn red and nasty and hurt.

When the doctor listens to your lungs through the stethescope s/he will listen to your heartbeat and your lungs. If s/he hears wheezing s/he will most likely suggest you see your own doctor to see if you have any of the many other reasons for wheezing : an allergy to pollens and mold, slight asthma, the beginnings of a cold, etc. so it can be treated and you will be able to play sports with no problem.

If you have been wheezing this is aqn excellent opportunity to find out why and get it taken care of. You are lucky to have a cool older friend with you during your physical who will be able to healp explain to your parents any reccomendations the doctor makes for you.

Wheezing doesn't immediately imply you've been smoking pot. I can be many different things. Don't worry about it. I'm sure your coach won't jump up and accuse you of smoking pot at the slightest sign of wheezing.

If your friend is already dead, and being eaten by vultures, I think it's okay to feed some bits of your friend to one of the vultures, to teach him to do some tricks. But only if you're serious about adopting the vulture.

This is new news to me! Wheezing?? I've been smoking for a while, fairly frequently, and I don't ever wheeze. It's not marijuana that's causing it, don't worry about it.
