| I had my gallbladder removed when I was 17, and I had a question for anyone that may have knowledge on the subject (This has been a hard question to find an answer to, I'm thinking I may have to ask a doctor). But...since the gallbladder is directly associated with the liver and its functions, does the absence of this organ have any effect on how long my body keeps traces of THC in me? Also, I follow a vegan diet (almost, if not absolutely, no cholesterol intake whatsoever) which I know helps in reducing the amount of time it takes to flush the system, I'm simply hoping this combination means even better news. Basically, I just want to know the effects, if any, a missing gallbladder can have on the time it takes to flush one's self of traces of unwanted stuff. Thanks in advance....peace |

| Good question dude. I had my gallbladder removed in June of '07 and I'm a vegetarian. Maybe, someone will be able to answer this for the both of us, because now you've got my interest peaked, too.

| well, one thing to think about, certainly not an end all, perhaps their are over riding factors, but one thing to consider never the less I have heard that raising metabolism will rid the body of thc quicker. being on a vegan diet, i cant imagine metabolism being very good, it is likely slower than it could be....thus, via lower metablism due to vegan/vegetarian diet, it may take longer. |
