| Here's the history, I've been smoking pretty much daily for about 1 year and a half. Pretty small amounts in comparison to most, about a joint a day, average. Also have been on 50mg of Zoloft for about a year. I notice that when I smoke/ vaporize(Volcano), it seems to almost have an opposite effect on me. I seem more jittery, anxious, difficulty in breathing, and just simply not as enjoyable as it should be. Its been like this for some time now, and varies in degree with each experience. Also mention that I've not taken the Zoloft by my own choice in the last 3 months. I've also had gastrointestional issues, have taken different GERD medications, to no avail. Also about a year ago, I had my first bad LSD experience, out about 25 trips. My question is this, what is the most likely reason as to why my usage of Cannibus has changed so severely in the last 6 months or so? Physical or mental? Not sure where to go as far as finding an answer from a doctor, seems to dead end every time. Serious responses, please. And thanks in advance for your input. |

| I would trying clearing your system for a week. If you are in need of anti-depressant, take your zoloft, but if its not that big of a deal I would stop taking both zoloft and cannabis for about a week. Fast for 24 hours to start the week off and try to focus on reading, meditation, or other activities you find enjoyable. Eat lots of fruits and veggies and try to avoid starchy foods. Doing 30 minutes of exercise 3 times during that week should help a lot too. This should help clean out your system, bring your cannabinoid receptors back to the cellular surfaces, and the fast can help clean out fat soluble drug residues. You will be surprised how quickly your tolerance diminishes, so take it slow when you start your volcano back up. Hopefully this will reduce your anxiety, if not you might want to consider taking a longer break, or maybe there are things happening in your life that you are anxious about that need to be taken care of. I hope this helps |

Nornator gives really good advice although I wouldn't suggest going off any anti-depressant meds cold turkey without talking to your doctor. I have been without any weed for a few months now and it took a good month for me to feel normal again. Now I am back to normal I can't find anyone around ypsitucky! ![]() Oh well, it's good to take a break now and again. But seriously, talk to your DR if taking a break doesn't help your symptoms. Good luck! |
