Uh oh, I didn't know this could happen. I have put visene in 3 times and my eyes are still red, and I have to blink a lot because they feel dry. Would another brand work? maybe I have a tolerance.

hey man one of my mates used visene a lot and after awhile it stopped working.in fact it made them even more red. so he tryed this brand "clear eyes" it did the trick so try another brand or 2 and see how it goes it may work.just a question do u keep the bottle in acool place?and the tip clean cauz u can get bad eye infections if your not carefull.and also who do you hide your stoned eyes from?anyway hope i was of some help.

i would definatly switch to another brand. After three straight days of using visene. my eyes were in so much pain, and they were so dry, i had to put them in even when i didnt smoke.

From what I understand, visene doesn't let your tear glands work properly.

yeah visine sucks! same thing happened to me... now i use clear eyes and i have never had that problem since!

As mentioned trillions of times before...
Visine/ClearEyes only pinches the blood vessels in your eyes which makes them less red. It's not good for your eyes and I use it as little as possible. Also, if you use it all the time your eyes will begin to depend on it, so even if you're only a little stoned, your eyes will turn red and crave that little 4 dollar bottle of water.

You have built up a reliance (shall we say addicition) to the chemical eliment in Visine (lets call it a drug) that "get's the red out"

It would be in your best interest to see an eye doctor -- if you live in the US, any LensCrafter or Pearl Vision Center or even most super Walmarts have eye doctors on staff.

They can see if you have injured your cornea or lense.

Most likely treatment will be a saline wash of some type.

If you have no eye care physician then do go to your regular physician -- then can prescribe in this situation and hey you only get 2 eyes per life time...don't screw with them!

I usually put it in to hide my eyes from everybody, but right now its my parents because I am home for a bit.

Anyhoo, I smoked a bit today and I decided to experiment and not put visene in. And I didn't get red eye! crazy eh! Actually I did wash my face so a bit of normal water might have gotten in. I didn't have very much though. I thought that maybe it was just that my body was dehydrated before and smoking exagurated the fact. Today I drank 2 cups of water right after smoking, so maybe that has something to do with it.

Aye, I will keep an eye out for clear eyes. whoa, I used the 'I' sound a lot.

Clear Eyes does the same thing...stay away from all that crap or you could develop EYE PROBLEMS

Personally im a big fan of "Allclear" by Bauch & Lomb. The stuff doesn't feel weird at all after you use it, and it makes your eyes pearly white. Good stuff...
