Last night me and my bro rolled a joint and went to go smoke it outside. It was mixed with tobacco but this was about 300mg of weed in this joint. We just started about 3 weeks ago and we always smoke it together and we've smoked about 20 times. Anyway, when i smoke, for the past few times i get really sick.

At the start i feel good, dry mouth and everything, but then a bit into the high when it kicks in my vision begins to scroll Up, so when i try to focus on the tv it feels like everything is moving down and im looking towards the ceiling. It also happens with my eyes closed. I can't take it after a while so i have to puke. This ruins both our highs because he has to watch over me. Then i end up sleeping.

Im just wondering, why do i puke and get dizzy? Is it because i smoke to much? Its really potent weed and we have no tolerance basically so that might be it.

Also, i have some motion sickness pills called "Graval". They're not perscription or anything, so would it be ok for me to take one or two before i smoke so i dont get like this? Thanks.

Slow down. I've been smoking for a little less than 2 months and about 3 weeks into it (I was smoking about 5 times a week - maybe more - kinda like you) and I puked during two sessions. I slowed down a bit and even took a week off and it stopped happening. It's a lot better when you don't puke

Up In Smoke

First off. Stoners are NOT doctors. Regardless if they say they have something for you that will help you get along. Granted that may be true, It wont eliminate whats wrong, rather just mask the pain.

If it keeps happening. Its a process of Elimination. Take out the batch (tobacco). See what happens.

Take out the Pot, See what happens.

Take out whatever else you failed to mention here. See what happens.

While I am not a practicing physician it sounds like an overdose. Too much marijuana can cause these symptoms. Also smoking tobacco with pot, blunts, can cause problems. Nicotine can make you green in the gills when smoked like pot. Smoke the drugs seperately. If you get an overdose on pot - lay down.

Mild nausea isn't uncommon, but I don't know about that puking thing. It should be setting your gag reflex on hold.
Any alcohol use during a sesh? Eating way too much sugary stuff?
If you're new to weed, a bunch of stuff can happen that you get acclimated to, as time goes on.
Smoking less would be a good idea, too.

i would say it would be the tobacco because what you describe happens to me when i smoke tobacco(minus the vomiting) however you said it happens a little while into it, and im no scientist but i feel like nicotine hits you faster than thc...
if weed is making you sick then stop smoking lol

Every unpleasant effect that you have described is caused by smoking too much, too fast. Slow down, don’t smoke so much.

Nausea is something that used to happen to me often when I smoked more than I should have. The dizziness and distorted vision are also things that go along with consuming too much cannabis. I’ve experienced all of them at one time or another before I realized that I was overdoing it and smoking more than I should in one sitting.

Get a few good puffs then put your cannabis away. You will smoke yourself right into these unpleasant effects every time if you use too much.

Word. Especially if you don't smoke tobacco regularly, a spliff can be a pretty nasty thing. When I lived in Paris, everyone loved to smoke spliffs, straight canna was basically unheard of. It was super irritating, because I hate cigarettes (and tobacco in general).

Remove the tobac, see what happens

I've had the same problem once or twice on occasion. I threw up and felt pretty bad. I think it's because you inhale too much smoke at a very quick pace. I seshed with my friend who's been smoking for about a year now, and me only 2 months. We smoked up three 0.5g joints in like half an hour. He lol'd as I puked.... What an ass :P
