Is there anyone here who has got a medical weed for sezuires? I'm from mich where we just pass medical marijuana and was wondering what steps you went through to get yours??

My neuro knows I use weed for my sezuires. Could he give me a scrpit for it or do I have to go to another doctor??

I'm tired of putting up with buying crap off the street and having to deal with dealers bullshit. Do you grow your own or buy from a co-op and or caregiver?? any info would be helpful.......thanks buzz

Seizure disorders such as epilepsy are covered under the new Michigan medical marijuana law.

Doctors cannot prescribe marijuana because it is illegal under federal law and the license to prescribe medicines is a federal license. Doctors recommend that marijuana might be useful in the treatment of a condition.

So my doctor just gives me a recommendation and that's good?? My neruo knows that I smoke and we have talked about this before. He stated that he can't do anything illegal.

Now this since this has pass in our great state all he does is blesses me. Then get my card, go through the paperwork and I'm good to go??

Yes, but remember, cards will probably not start being issued until April.

The law doesn't go into effect until Dec. 4th, and then they have 120 days to get their shit together and figure out how they will distribute medical marijuana registration cards/licenses.

If they fail to start getting the registration cards out to patients by April, anybody with a Doctors recommendation will be considered a legal medical marijuana patient, protected from state law enforcement.

I hope it goes as soon as possible . I got to drive over 500 miles in the early morning just to get a bag of weed cause of the ripofff buttheads around here

I tell you the pain to get weed sucks but it does a great job in keeping my sezuires under control. With weed I can function through life. I had epilepsy for 20 years now and been on bunches of pills, diets and other things.

I can vape a couple times a day and have a great life. I'm able to ride my bike 50 miles, play with my grandbaby's, go hunting fishing and even talk on the phone.

So they can't get me a card soon enough for me. I got 50 acres I'm ready for some growing Thank you all for your info and your support on prop one here in michigan

ok so i have epilepsy also.. i have grand mal's.. right now they have me on trileptol but i quite taking it and i have been smoking weed for a little over 3 years now... and sence i started smoking it i have not had one seziure.. i moved to michigan last year and with this election it is legal.. and i just found out it can be used for seziures.. well i was wondering who i could ask about it.. this fourem like is dead on.. so would i just ask a regular doc or something or would i have to have a different doc to ask
