| I may be getting my braces off soon, and I'm just wondering if anybody knows if smoking browns your teeth? The reason I'm concerned, is because the brackets on each teeth have not been exposed to any smoke, but the rest of the tooth has been, and if pot browns the teeth, then I'm in a bit of a pickle. I started smoking after I had my braces, I've had them on for 2 years, and 1 year of that I've been smoking.. ( In total it is probably around 2 ounces ) Oh yeah, for a bit of the time I was brushing my teeth only once a day due to sickness problems (maybe 2 months). So the question is. Do I have to worry? If so, can ya suggest any methods of whitening the teeth and / or anything I should be informed of before I start. Thanks for taking the time to read this.
