My eyes do not really get pink while I am stoned...mainly because I use bongs....but last night(A few hours ago I hit it with no water.....My eyes are a little pink....I was wondering will a doctor notice and tell my mom that I have been smoking?I am not talking about a regular doctor...talking about an eye doctor...I am getting contacts today.Please send your reply fast. thx -Jo

You could try using contact solution. Then take a shower and maybe the steam will moisten your eyes enough to get rid of the red. Maybe chop and onion. If anything else, ask your mom to stay in the waiting room, and if the doctor says anything, tell him you have allergies. Got a buck? go to any gas station, they will have visine.

You are better off telling the optometrist (if your mom is out of ear shot) that you were partying last night.

One of the things they look for in a contact lense fitting is if yopur eyes get too red -- caused by lack of oxygen to your corneas.

What will the optmietrist say? Probably will point out that you should NEVER use regular Visine or ClearEyez when youa re wearing contacts...the solution is absorbed by the lenses and can cause injury to your eyes. They will then try to sell you something for your "eye allergy problem" which no doubt your mother will purchase for you being concerned as she should be about your eye health.

Oh, and it is the actual cannabis that causes red eye...the dilation of blood vessels in the sclera (white) of the eye.

Of course your eyes do get red from smoke irritation as well, so you can always say that "nasty people were smoking cigarettes " and blame it all on those poor souls who are addicited to nicotine against their will...
