Okay, in my neverending quest to find the perfect dosage and delivery of marijuana, I started finding information about how the Chinese would combine Ginseng with marijuana because it helped cancel out some of the mind boggling effects of marijuana.

I was wondering if anyone has tried this, or any other herbs with marijuana. The chinese are all into using a combination of herbs, because they believe the herbs work synergistically to create total that is greater than the sum of its parts. I think this is true.

Anyone have any experience with this?

The only thing I have found is green tea, especially eaten, goes well with marijuana.

Salvia divinorum is supposed to help give you lucid dreams. Wonder what that would do combined with marijuana, Hmmm...

salvia will give you more then lucid dreams, maybe a trip to mars, Stuff is nuts. Anyway i heard of some yerbamate tea stuff that is sappose to combine well with the ganj.

try kava kava with herb. it's very relaxing and can be bought at your local GNC.

I'd imagine Kratom and marijuana would go very well together, maybe after drinking the prepared tea smoke a joint, though I've yet to try it !

I second that, although I can get lesser processed stuff grown here that I would prefer. Makes a good tea, a resturant/deli not far from here sells kava-kava tea and they sometimes have big kava parties. The place is called Maui-Wowie too. Funny..... Anyway, Its a legal relaxing herb, bitter, aquired taste. I'm with vaya though, I could understand this being off-topic... yet I don't exactly want it to be. Peace, HN-

Wait, so you think this thread I started is off topic?

Why would it be that way? This is a medical marijuana board, and I'm looking for something that works WITH marijuana. Not something different. No offense or anything I'm just wondering..

I guess what I'm looking for is something that can round out your high experience, so you feel even more normal. This is obviously not something I would ask complete potheads, cuz they're using marijuana recreationally and not medicinally like me.

I am cooking now, and find the anti-anxiety effects of small amounts taken orally help me a ton. However, sometimes my thinking seems a bit off. It only happens a few times a day, but its still there. At first I thought it was because of the weed, but maybe it could be some other things. For one, I'm coming off Paxil, and I remember this happening slightly before when I came off paxil. Secondly, I'm also using cannabis medicinally, and your body has to adapt to any new "drug" so to speak...so maybe in time all this will settle down and I won't feel the need for something to take with marijuana.

Thanks for the replies about Kava Kava though...something I can buy in the store. That other stuff looks interesting too, but I don't know if I'm ready for other types of drugs. At least not yet....

Lucid dreams...waking lucid dreams maybe.

Yerba Mate is nice..it has alot of a chemical that is closely related to caffeine, (starts with an x) but basically eliminates the jitters, and crash from caffeine. Plus it's just relaxing to drink Gives you a nice, relaxed energy.

Chamomile tea is great if you feel like a couchlock.

I can't really think of anything other than those, and kava kava.

No no no...salvia shouldn't be mixed with Marijuana. The two plants are totally difffrent in effects. Despite the fact that salvia is legally obtainable in the USA, it is NOT a party or recreational type of drug. Without going into any details, I can tell you first-hand that mixing the two isn't a great idea. Most people can't grasp how strong/powerfull salvia is. It is not a toy...

Kava however might be a good addition. Both kava and marijuana have sedative effects...
