Montel Williams in a recent interview with Australia's Herald Sun about medical marijuana...........

"... I'm doing a show on Jan. 13 about the book and this issue. The model Emme, whose father died of MS complications, is going to interview me. I think it's time for a change. I hope to inspire others to take a stand. This is some good news that he is standing up on his own show. Hopefully others will do the same and get this issue heard like it should be, truthfully, and not told by a drug czar.

Alot of old people watch montel, and you know how they feel about drugs...

Perhaps he will lose much of his demographic, who knows.

But it is nice to see a celebrity (?) take a stand

Maybe there should be a national coming out day for MMJ users....I think it would be kinda cool.

As far as daytime talk shows go, I always liked Montel. Still had some of the same drivel as sally, etc...

Ex-military, pro discipline and he is very well spoken. A fine addition to the cause.

I will definitely watch the show..Thanks for the heads up Mamabudz.

Yes...he has MS

AN especially painful type of MS

And does not like taking prescription painkillers (Vicodin, Oxycontin) -- he does not accept the side effects -- tried them and chose against them -- found they were non-effective for his pain.

His preference is for the effectiveness and non-addictive action of MJ which his California doctor prescribes for him.

This is a major victory for Med Mari patients everywhere.
