this is really fvcked up...i'm 15/f/104 lb, and if me and an adult are smoking the same amount of the same weed, that person can be fvcked up and i'll barely be high at all. i'm pretty much new to smoking too--i started about a year ago, then took an 8-month break, and just a few weeks ago i started smoking again. now i smoke about 3 bowls a day, and...nothing! i get the munchies HARDCORE, i get asian-eyed and easily amused, but that's it. i don't crack up and sing karaoke like my friends do, and christ i was a FEATHERWEIGHT last month. why don't i get fvct anymore?? i really need a solution, cause i don't know anyone who could get me any off-topics...so it's weed or SOBRIETY, life or death here...

what am i doing wrong, how can i possibly have a tolerance like this already? ...help?

Take a 1 month break. That should help. It seems that hwen you come back from a break your tolerance shoots up twice as fast as before so dont be smoking 3 bowls in one session, just smoke one every session so you keep a good tolerance.

You could try a different strain of weed.

Or it might be classical conditioning. Where you keep using a drug in the same environment, and tolerance builds because of that.

Try changing the environment in which you toke up. Change the setting.

it sounds like the type of marijuana you are smoking might be low quality / low THC content. if so, get some better quality marijuana; otherwise, try taking a break for a month or so like jebus suggested. also, try smoking alone if you can and see what that does.

Calm down, you aren't doing anything "wrong" and your tolerance has not gone up -- merely your insight

You don;t get the giggles and silliness of your friends probably because you are more of an observer than a participant -- you have a streak of the journalist in you...

If yu want to be giddy, just decide to join the party. You'll feel giddy if you choose to be. You simply have a slightly more mature outlook than your friends right now. Everyone will catch up soon and you'll be chilling over music together in someone's garage soon.

wow first of all i wasn't expecting this many replies so quickly! and it's good to hear i'm not building a tolerance...i would have to agree with mindraver about low-quality weed, it looks more BROWNISH than green to me. but my dealer is one of my best friends, so i don't feel like i wasted my money. more like "donated" it . i do try to vary my smoking environment, usually i'll smoke twice alone and then once with a friend.

i might just cut down to like half a bowl a day for a few weeks, a compromise of what jebus said. i could probably buy a GUITAR with a month's "weed money" if i did it that way. of course if i'm at a party and i can participate for free that's a different story .

that sound like a good idea? i trust you guys alot more than i trust myself, so...

Me and my friends always smoke blunts, chocolate ones! If you don't want to smoke THAT much, then buy Cigarillos instead, they are smaller! After one of those, you'll be high as a kite! Good luck!
