| I was unaware of this condition so did some research. I found this web-site out of Stanford Medical Center in California provided the most information:Juvenile Osteoporosis There are a number of secondary factors that can cause osteoporosis including medical conditions, medications, and lifestyle. The effect of marijuana would seem to fall under the medications or lifestyle listings. The medications listed however, do not have similarities to marijuana, they are corticosteroids, seizure medications and immuno suppressive drugs. Lifestyle may have been impacted by marijuana if your eating choices are effected by it. Lack of calcium rich foods and vitamin D (which assists in calcium absorbtion) in the diet are serious culprits as is in-activity. Dieting to the point of anorexia is also a culprit. Please continue to see your doctor and get to the bottom of your problem...it can become quite serious if untreated. ...have a cookie and a Tall glass of Milk ![]() Hugz, Mama Budz | |
