| I was wondering, do you know any way to tell from street bud weather the bud is more indica or sativa?? Since most of this stuff is hybrids, I was thinking that maybe a "darker" color would be a trait of an indica? However, then i started thinking that the color of the plant is just one gene, and that there are probably different genes for the theurpeutic effect. So basically, you can't really tell if its more indica by the color. do you know of any ways I can do this? Thanks for your answer, Soar |

| Most of the marijuana you buy from a dealer is (dominantly)Indica. Indicas flower early and make big nugs, so they are preferred by growers who grow to sell. Obviously most of the marijuana you get will be a hybrid (there are few if any 'purebred' strains) Dominant Sativas produce, in my opinion, a nicer high. Indicas give you more of a heavy, tiring, couchlock high. <- that's kind of how you know it's Indica. |

| Indicas produce shorter, fatter, more dense, and typically more crystal covered nugs than Sativas, which tend to be longer, wispier, and have more hair coverage rather than crystals. They tend to not be dense either.

| No, there really isn't anyway to tell from looking at a bag. Yes, the buds do look different, but once they are manicured and bagged, it would take quite a discerning eye to be able to identify. Plus, bud size/density can be influenced by nutes and lights. Even the high won't be a definitive tell. Depending on when you harvest it will give you a different high. Yes, there are still 100% Sativas out there. WWS (banner on top of page) has some pure sativa seeds for sale, Durban Poison from Dutch Passion being just one.

| So your saying that the timing of the harvest has more of an effect on the "high" you get, then the genetic of a plant itself?? For instance, if I took a sativa, and harvested when the trichs were very cloudy, then I would get an indica stone?? It can't be that simple...at least it doesn't seem that way. |
