Hey guys,

I'm a new smoker here, and the first time I got high it seemed parts of the chemical effects remained with me upwards of 10 hours after initially getting high... Is this normal? I'm just curious, I'm very new to all of this... Any and all informative responses are very much appreciated.

Im sure lots of smokers can feel the effects of the drug hours after smoking, I can usually feel 'something' until I go to sleep and Ive been smoking for awhile. Dont worry.

Yes, depending on how much you smoked and the quality of what you smoked, you can feel some effects for that long.

Lack of sleep and poor eating habits and dehydration can also make you feel the "after" effects so be sure you are well rested, eating a balanced diet and drinking plenty of water and other non caffeinated drinks.

dame yeh the longer hit u get out of hash the better so what kind of smoke where u smoking and dont worrie about enything dont take much if u dont want it to last long look at it that way smoke a pipe lasts about 2=3 houres 1 joint 1-2 houres depence the strength and how much so were are u from i live in scotland

i know the problem you speak of. i find when i have reason to be nervous about my being high, like in school, or my parents suspect me, ill think of my high. And when you think of the high i think the after effects will stay longer. I cant really put it in words...
