Default Mixing marijuana with meds

Currently I have a chest cold and an eye infection (conjunctivitis) and I am currently taking a Salbutamol inhaler (ventolin) and a Beclomethasone Dipropionate inhaler which is a corticosteroid. Those inhalers are for my asthma (just started the corticosteroid today). I am also taking anti-viral eyedrops called Viroptics for the eye infection. I am wondering if it is safe to smoke marijuana while taking these medications. I know it is not recommended to smoke while you have a chest cold but is it safe to mix those medications with marijuana? Any advice would be appreciated.

Peace

Cool

Well i smoked a bowl anyway. Im extremely stoned for some reason probably because i havent smoked since Tuesday. Im definately gunna take a long break from now on because I smoke way too much. Do you think lowering the ocular pressure in my eye will affect my eye infection? Thanks for the responses.

Peace,

No, lowering the pressure within your eye will not help alleviate your eye infection.

I would suggest not smoking now as it appears your lungs are seriously inflamed -- hence the corticosteroid -- and applying any hot smokey irritant to your lungs would seem to me to be contraindicated.

Either take a nice break and wait until you are healthy or learn to make cannabis tea.

Whatever you choose, remember to be repsonsible and care for your body. Weed will be waiting for you when the doctor gives you the thumbs up again.
