A friend of mine is new to medical marijuana. She she'll store an ounce in several different Mason jars. Her smoking pattern is quite irregular. Her medicine might not be consumed quite as fast as other people consume their weed, is what I'm saying. She has a few different strains on hand, and a few favorite strains that she tends to smoke before any other. All in all, she's what you would call a definite 'light smoker'.

So, time-wise: she might tend to keep some of her weed in a Mason's jar for a month or even longer than that. She was wondering if there is some type of agent she should put in the jar to help preserve her skunk weed as long as possible. She knows that she should alway keep her nuggets out of sunlight, in a place where the ambient temperature is not hot and tends to be on the cool side.

She is real worried about her weed going bad on her. She wonders if her goal - to preserve her weed for several months or more - is a goal that is achievable. She told me that she is beginning to wonder if what she's trying to accomplish here is something that conflicts with the laws of mother nature. Maybe she's asking for the impossible?
