I received my MMJ card today at 2pm, and I couldn't be happier!

What I wanted to say here though, is that I had my doubts as to the effectiveness of MJ for my pain issues, and I wanted to report my findings. I have two main issues: Chronic back pain from several problems in my spine, and Peripheral Neuropathy in my feet. I'm coming off of fairly high doses of Oxy and Morphine, and MMJ was suggested by my doc as a more healthy alternative.

While I can't say that the back pain is decreased, (as I'm still using the other pain killers while I ramp down off of them) The dicomfort from the neuropathy is MUCH better after smoking. I could hardly sleep when my feet were really bothering me, but in the last week since I started smoking, I notice an OBVIOUS improvement. If anyone out there is on the fence, let me just say "Jump off the fence onto the 'greener' side!" I am not a doctor of course, and this is just MY experience, but I can truly say that MMJ works to make me a lot more comfortable, WITHOUT the horrible side effects of the other prescription drugs.

So I'm off to smoke my first 'legal' bowl! Take it easy everybody, and thanks to all those who make this such a helpful and entertaining site!
